The Swedish mega-brand is, in their own words, "a street fashion brand for intellectual slackers". Founded in January of 2000 by a group of avid skate and snowboarders, WeSC addresses an audience with an acute sense of awareness, regardless of race, religion, or financial background. The particular "We-feeling" found within the skateboard culture is an ever-present, important, key element in the company's day to day operations. Like the subculture it represents, WeSC sets its own rules and follows its own trends.
Today, WeSC is available in more than 20 countries world-wide, and sponsors a great deal of international skateboarders, artists, musicians, dj's, actors, etc...what are called "WeActivists". Such "WeActivists demonstrate a streetwise mentality, and tread their own path with humility. Succintly put, "A WeActivist is an informal ambassador that flies the flag of the Superlative Conspiracy!".
