Fashion (and Fascinators!) Dominate the Royal Wedding

I may be incredibly exhausted as a result of my vigilant watching of the Royal Wedding, but a few extra cups of coffee this morning is well worth the visual spectacle I was witness to. Aside from the bride’s stunning gown, the guests in attendance of the wedding did not disappoint when it came to style- and particularly to hats.

While I had a rudimentary knowledge of Philip Treacy’s designs thanks to my love for Sarah Jessica Parker, this morning’s historic nuptials have forever solidified him in my mind. Only a few short hours ago I had no idea what a “fascinator” was, but now, given that the Irish-born couturier hat designer dressed nearly everyone in attendance of the event, I cannot get enough of them!
