Walk The Walk Christianity-Inspired Flip Flops

    Picture this.
You’re sitting on the beach. The sun is setting. The waves are crashing around you and there’s no one in sight. A great calm washes over you and you sit there in the sand, listening to the sound of nature.

Suddenly, a gang of hooligans approaches you from behind, takes hold of you, starts roughing you up and demanding all of your possessions.

But still you remain calm. You don’t resist and you don’t give up your wallet slash cell phone slash anything.
The reason? You know you are safe and protected because of your Jesus-inspired flip-flops- The God Flops (also known as the Walk the Walk flip flops)!

    No jokes.

The designer of the sandals, a school teacher from Florida, says that she had a revelation, and that the idea for the flip-flops inscribed with scripture from the Bible were a result of divine intervention.

“I know what a divine calling is now. I know that sounds kinda weird, but I really do feel that God told me to do this. And I see that every time I’m worried or stressed out about something, he points me in a new direction and it all works out. So I know it was the right thing to do,” she says.

    Riiiiiiight.

Don’t know if the almighty would take the time out of his busy God schedule to inspire someone from Tampa to make flip-flops emblazoned with phrases from the Bible, but alright.

To check out some less alarming, more religion-neutral flip-flops, have a look at Luello’s collection of Flojos. They weren’t inspired by God himself, but they also won’t make you feel bad for only going to church on Christmas.
