Fedor Vs Barnett Announced

After months of speculation and contract delays, Affliction has finally announced their latest WAMMA heavyweight championship fight, with Fedor Emelianenko and Josh Barnett going head to head on August 1st.

Both fighters were winners at Affliction’s last pay-per-view fight, “Day of Reckoning”, with Barnett defeating Gilbert Yvel by third round submission and Emelianenko knocking out former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski.

The fight which will be pitting the close friends- and number one and two heavyweight fighters respectively- against one another will take place at the Honda center in Anaheim, California and will be broadcast on Showtime PPV.
