Gossip Girl Jessica Szohr in J Brand!

Although the show is definitely not what it used to be, Jessica Szohr has definitely seen an increase in plot lines since Season one of Gossip Girl. Szohr plays Vanessa Abrams, the gorgeous, brainy bff of Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley), and on-again off-again romantic interest of Nate Archibald (Chase Crawford). Since her debut on the show, Szohr has shown she’s more then just Brooklyn-boho,  and has transformed from bohemian queen to a fashionista in her own right. Playing everyone’s moral conscience, (although sometimes ignoring her own…) Szohr definitely relates to the greater majority of viewers, considering few have the wealth or lack of parental supervision of other characters (say those played by Leighton Meester or Blake Lively).

Off-set, Szohr has been spotted about Manhattan with her boyfriend, and cast mate Ed Westwick (who apparently recently announced he’d like to “make some money and buy Jessica a house”). The two were caught most recently canoodling in the Maxim booth at the Super Bowl. Both Szohr and Westwick are fashion-fanatics and have made appearances at all the big fashion weeks this year. We couldn’t be happier to see Jessica in a pair of J Brand… then again, we couldn’t be that surprised… they are the celebrity denim of choice!
