In case you didn’t know, True Love & False Idols is a “Tale of 2 Alexes”, founded by Alex2tone, an LA graffiti artist, UCLA film school student, freelance designer and former Art Director at Howe Denim; and Alex Vaz, a former junior designer at Howe Denim with business and fashion degrees. The two Alexes have managed to create a distinctive line of custom t-shirts, long sleeves, polos, hoodies and even cashmere.
Luello will host some of their most creative artistic designs that have been sported by several celebrities, athletes and artists; such as: T.I, Jamie Foxx, Gym Class Heroes, Chuck Liddell, Rashsad Evans, Stephen Colletti, T-Pain, Chingy, Hayden Christenson, Fontel Mines, and Scott Jorgensen to name a few.

In his first season with the Los Angeles Lakers, Josh Powell has managed to prove he’s more then just a second-stringer. In the past few games, coach Phil Jackson has not only called on the center forward to help maintain the Lakers’ lead, but also extend it. Averaging 4-6 points per game, Powell scored a personal season-high 17 points against Houston on the weekend when he started. And although the Lakers have fallen to one game behind the 1st place Cavaliers, both coach and player have faith that the Lakers can remain at the top. With season-best performances by Powell, it’s no wonder that Affliction clothing has him posing in some of their newest styles.
Powell has always been fan friendly and although he may come off as gun-shy; he recently was featured in the LA Times and blogs regularly on NBA.com about hip hop, and his “JPeezy” Playlist, which is updated on the site on a regular basis. Luello presents the Ultimate UFC Weekend! The folks in the Luello Promotions department have worked hard to put together a great weekend for the winner of this contest and it only requires a filled out entry form, which you can find here. The contest runs from today until April 9th.

UFC 97 features UFC middleweight champion Anderson “The Spider” Silva, who is out to defend his crown against number one contender Thales Leites in the main event. Also featured in the UFC’s return to Montreal is the light heavyweight showdown that MMA fans have waited for years to see, as legendary Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell squares off against Brazilian Mauricio “Shogun” Rua in what promises to be one of the fiercest match ups of 2009.
